The first Wednesday of each month there is no formal meeting. Instead we try to meet somewhere for a social get together.

For years, our Surf City Rotary has supported the building, expansion and support of Teachers for the Endupoto Primary School in Tanzania.
The “miracle in the bush” was accomplished from the ground up in 12 years. 650 + Maasai boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade now flourish at this school.
Endupoto is a very successful school in the bush. No decision is made without the Maasai community. Endupoto is their school and they are immensely proud of it.

Each year the Surf City Rotary Club helps sponsors the annual Christmas Party for the Boys & Girls Club of Huntington Valley

Twice a year, the Surf City Rotary Club of Huntington Beach provides school shoes the kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Huntington Valley. Lots of smiles are a result of this worthwhile project!

Knowledgeable guest speakers covering a wide number of topics are invited to speak to our club at each meeting. In the recent past we have had city councilman, City of Huntington Beach Attorney, local charity spokesman, City of Hope personnel, and Rotary International Directors visit with us and present updates on what they are involved with.

Last year (2019) The SPLASH Fundraising Committee organized the first Progressive Dinner to kick off the fundraising efforts for our SPLASH Fundraiser.
