Hello Friends of Surf City Rotary of Huntington Beach,

After more than 30 years in Rotary, I can proudly say how lucky I am to call myself a Rotarian. Over the years I have participated in so many amazing events, community service projects, and fellowship opportunities that would not have happened without Surf City Rotary of Huntington Beach.

Simply put, Rotary members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and Internationally to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, support education, save mothers and children, protect the environment, grow local economies, and eradicate polio worldwide under the motto of SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Although we are a small group of 25 members, we are strong in our ability to cause change in our community and in the world. Together we make a difference and, I think that for me, that's what keeps me coming back year after year.

I believe that the best thing about Rotary is that when we see a problem in our community, we do something about it. This year, we will donate $125,000 to support local and International charities and projects. If you've never experienced the joy of making that kind of difference in the world, think about learning more about what being a Rotarian might mean for you. I would love to have you join us for breakfast and a meeting to consider if Rotary might be just what you need in your life. You can learn more by exploring this website to learn about the remarkable work Rotarians do around the world. Or call us directly at 657-342-5294 and then stop by one of our meetings.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Tanya Hoxsie
