The following are paraphrased mission statements for the projects/organizations we support from our
SPLASH Fundraising proceeds:
 
  • Alzheimer’s Family Center - A local adult day healthcare facility providing memory care programs and caregiver support.
  • BGCHV - (Premier Club Charity ) A local organization that inspires and enables the healthy development of all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring members of our community.
  • Bolsa Chica Conservancy - A local organization that provides services through community involvement in hands-on restoration and education about the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve.
  • Bracken’s Kitchen - A local organization who is committed to recovering, re-purposing and restoring both food and lives through their food recovery, culinary training and community feeding program.
  • Christ Church Greenwich - Reimburse Christ Church Greenwich for the salary expense of the teacher at the Endupoto Primary School in Tanzania.
  • City of Hope - A local organization whose mission is to transform the future of health care by turning science into practical benefit and hope into reality.
  • End Polio Now Campaign - A Rotary International project, in partnership with the Gates Foundation, with the goal of eradicating polio worldwide. 
  • Huntington Landmark Toymakers - A local organization that hand crafts thousands of various toys all year to give to deserving children.
  • Joe Leick Memorial Scholarship - A Club program that provides scholarships to deserving local college-bound High School students.
  • Knots of Love - A local organization that donates caps, scarves and blankets to cancer patients and others with life-threatening illnesses.
  • Orange County Council – Boy Scouts of America - The mission of the local Council is to develop tomorrow's leaders today through adventure & fun activities that instill values & teach life skills.
  • Passports to Success – Eddie Nash Foundation - A local organization that empowers foster youth with the essential skills they need to live independent, productive lives.
  • Pathways to Independence – A local organization that helps to transform the lives of disadvantaged single women through education, therapy, mentoring, housing and healthcare.
  • Pins for Kids - A bowling event hosted by the Fountain Valley Kiwanis which raises funds to support local Kiwanis service projects and to help the BGCHV.
  • Robyne’s Nest - A local organization that helps at-risk homeless students gain the academic, financial and life skills needed to complete High School and look to college, trade school or military options.
  • RYLA Campers - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a three-day extensive training/experiential camping program for High School juniors to work with Rotarians in leadership development.
  • Shelter Box USA - A national organization that partners with Rotary International to hand deliver emergency shelter to families around the world who have been displaced by disaster or conflict.
  • Shoe the Kids - A Club program that provides shoes and socks annually to 300 Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley children in need.
  • Special Olympics Southern California - A local organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Stove Team International - An international organization that provides improved cook stoves to people in developing nations in Latin America.
  • Tee It up for the Troops - A national organization whose mission is to honor, remember, respect and support all those that served in the armed forces.
  • Therapeutic Riding Center – Reins of Success - A local organization that partners with the Mounted Enforcement Unit of the HBPD to build citizenship values, instill a sense of responsibility and provide a positive environment to prevent at risk youth from engaging in or continuing risky behavior.
  • Various Community Projects – A Club program that entails working with the local Council on Aging to support the elderly by completing work projects in our community.
